When did same-sex marriage laws become effective by state?

In light of the good news today that the Supreme Court ruled that same-sex couples have the right to marry in the United States, we thought we’d look when various states allowed same-sex couples to marry (if they did at all) before today.

The Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA) will host a Proposers’ Day Conference for the Crowdsourcing Evidence, Argumentation, Thinking and Evaluation (CREATE) Program on June 30, 2015, in anticipation of the release of a new solicitation in support of the Program.
