The fast and frugal heuristics I came up with do reason well in real-world environments.<\/p>\n<p>I came up with the term in 1994 or so, it first appeared in print here: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dangoldstein.com\/papers\/FastFrugalPsychReview.pdf\">Gigerenzer, G. &amp; Goldstein, D.
