Data file explanation: gend, edu, and pol (Studies 1a, 1c, and 1d respectively) all have the same structure: author_id refers to the twitter author worker_id refers to the participant (rater) correct is a binary variable indicating whether the participant guessed the trait of the author correctly gender indicates the gender of the rater age refers to the age of the rater AOT refers to the average scores of the rater on the AOT scale (We did not include gender and age in our analyses for this paper, but they may be of interest to other researchers.) age (Study 1b) is slightly different, because age was not analyzed as a categorical variable. author_id, worker_id, age, gender, and AOT are all the same as the other three files. realAge is the author's age in years predictedAge is the rater's guess of the author's age absDiff is the absolute value of the difference between realAge and predictedAge
